Plan Your Gift To The Museum

While considering the AMFF in your will and estate plans, please keep in mind how important your planned gift is to the future of the Museum. It will set the stage for continued success as we continue to expand and reach generations to come. Thank you for your generous support of our work.

Help preserve the past and make a planned gift to AMFF through your will. Your gift of a bequest will enlist you in our Bequest Society. As a member of the Society, you and your family will accrue special annual benefits year after year, and you will help to leave a legacy that will ensure the Museum’s future.

ESTATE

Through your estate you can either specify a contribution amount or specify a percentage of your estate. If your estate is subject to estate tax, your gift is entitled to an estate tax charitable deduction for the gift's full value

BENEFICIARY

Beneficiary of life insurance or qualified retirement plan such as 401k or 403b or IRA: You may choose to name AMFF as the beneficiary to all or part of your retirement plan. Proceeds of these plans are entirely free from federal estate tax.

LIVING TRUST

This allows you to transfer assets while still receiving annual income from the asset. Additionally, you will receive the charitable tax deduction now (at the time of the gift).

ANNUITY

This allows you to give a fixed donation each year for life.

DONATE TO THE COLLECTION

Our collection is always expanding, and we are continually seeking to acquire artifacts, art, photographs, archival papers, and books to enhance our holdings that we share with the public.

DONATE TO THE AUCTION

This is a great way to simultaneously make a gift to the Museum and achieve your marketing or philanthropic goals. Donate an auction item and gain exposure to your target audience. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Click Here to download our auction donation contract.

MATCHING GIFTS

Many corporations will match employee gifts to charities which can augment and in some cases double your individual gift. Please inquire about matching gifts with your employer’s human resources department and increase your gift to the Museum – without re-opening your wallet!

COMMEMORATIVE BRICK

Commemorative bricks are a unique way to honor a person or event. Bricks can be purchased singly or in a series that can be installed as a group. All bricks are installed along the pathway leading to the American Museum of Fly Fishing. The cost of this program is $100 per brick.
