On Saturday, August 10, AMFF Ambassador Scott Biron will join Curator Jim Schottenham for another educational look at the streamer fly. Scott is a popular attraction when presenting his instructional tying lessons at national, international, and regional shows. Scott and Jim will discuss the streamer flies of Dr. J. Herbert Sanborn and the Letourneau brothers, Emile and Gene, as they relate to the origins of the tandem streamer fly. Scott will demonstrate how to tie the Emile Letourneau Sportsmen Say pattern live during the annual AMFF Fly Fishing Festival.
