The Heritage of Fly Fishing: A Sport for the Ages
Join us online on October 15 at 8 p.m. EST for our 2020 Heritage event, The Heritage of Fly Fishing: A Sport for the Ages. This is the museum’s largest fundraiser of the year. There is no charge to tune in, but we hope you will consider making a donation or supporting the online auction.
The evening will feature a tour of our new exhibit, Reflections: The Angler and Nature in Art and interviews with fly- fishing luminaries, including Rachel Finn, Jim Klug, Pete Kutzer, Nick Lyons, Tom McGuane, Flip Pallot, James Prosek, Robert Rubin, and April Vokey
There will also be an online auction with an introduction from Nick Dawes, Senior Vice President, Special Collections, Heritage Auctions New York. We are so excited to be able to share this event, usually held in annually in New York City, with all of our members and supporters around the globe. There are two Leadership Circle levels, the Royal Coachman ($2,500) and the Quill Gordon ($1,000). All Leadership Circle donors will be invited to a complimentary lunch at the Anglers’ Club in New York City (date TBA for 2021). Donors at the Royal Coachman level will also receive two 18” x 24” vintage photographs, graciously signed and numbered by Stu Apte and Joan Wulff.
