Jim Payne Fly Rod

The son of turn-of-the-century rodmaker E.F. Payne, Jim Payne was known for his high standards of craftsmanship and his determination to maintain the quality of Payne rods as a tribute to his father. Jim sold the company to the Gladding Corporation in 1963, staying on as their master rodmaker until his death in 1968.
