2017 Annual Appeal

Dear AMFF Friends,

First and foremost, I would like to extend a very sincere thank you to all who have supported us since our inception in 1968. As we approach our 50th year of operation it becomes incredibly clear that without our members, museum visitors, trustees, event attendees, and supporters both near and far, we simply would not be here. Year after year, and decade after decade, we have been humbled by your strong and consistent patronage and I am writing to ask that you please consider supporting the American Museum of Fly Fishing's Annual Appeal this year. During our first half century, our collection has grown in ways we never would have dreamed, our programming has reached anglers of every age and demographic in person, in print, and electronically, and we continue to protect, preserve, and share the history of fly fishing. We have had countless success stories, and never lost sight of where (and why) we began. But most importantly, we are focused on where we go from here-digitizing our collection, expanding our exhibition space with a permanent fly room, and engaging anglers with events, programs, and a state of the art collection. We hope you can support our Annual Appeal during this important year as we begin our second half century with one eye toward the future and one to the past. I would also like to again thank the thousands of supporters we have had over the years and warmly welcome our new supporters. Visit us (in Vermont, or online at amff.org) to see just how much of the past we have to share with you; after all, we are your museum.

Sincerely,
Karen Kaplan
