About the Honoree
Jim Klug's outdoor photography primarily focuses on fly fishing, fishing-related outdoor landscapes, and travel images. His work has appeared in dozens of different magazines, books and other publications, including The Drake, Fly Fish Journal, Big Sky Journal, USA Today, Fly Fisherman Magazine, Fly Rod & Reel, Forbes, Outside Magazine, Fly Fishing in Saltwaters, Fly Fusion Magazine, Caribbean Travel & Life, the New York Times, the L.A. Times, and several others.
Jim lives in Bozeman, Montana with his wife Hilary, daughter Carson, and sons Finn and Waylon. As founder and Director of Operations for destination angling entity Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, Jim has been fortunate enough to travel to many of the world's top fly fishing destinations, including Belize, all throughout the Bahamas, Central and South America, Russia, India, Asia, Africa, Mauritius, Christmas Island, the Seychelles, numerous countries throughout Europe, and to all fifty of the United States. Aside from his photography, Jim is also the co-owner, producer, and writer for Confluence Films, a production company that created the fly fishing movies DRIFT (2008), RISE (2009), CONNECT (2011) and WAYPOINTS (2013). Jim currently sits on the Board of Directors for AFFTA (the American Fly Fishing Trade Association), Belize's Turneffe Atoll Trust and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF).
